The Urban Services division is one of the most important divisions within Urbaser. It includes municipal waste services, street and beach cleaning, and management of landscaped areas.

These are very sensitive services, which have a direct impact on the quality of life of millions of citizens around the world, whether in Madrid, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile, London or Paris.

Urbaser manages more than 23 million tons of solid urban waste per year and keeps more than 45,000 kilometres of streets clean worldwide, an activity for which it employs more than 20,000 people who serve more than 59 million citizens.

Urbaser manages the Green Areas Maintenance Service in several major Spanish cities, and in the autonomous communities of Madrid, Catalonia, Basque Country, Castilla la Mancha, Canary Islands and Valencia.
